Why 316L
Molybdenum gives 316L better resistance to chlorides and many acids than 304L, and low carbon keeps welded joints resistant to intergranular corrosion.

Lengths and ends
Single random (about 5–7 m) and double random (about 9–12 m) lengths, or cut to size. Plain or bevelled ends to ASME B16.25.
Documents
Mill test certificates to EN 10204 3.1 with every length, heat numbers matched to the pipe markings. IBR Form III-A for IBR pipe.

What is the difference between 316 and 316L pipe?
316L has lower carbon (0.03% max), which reduces sensitisation during welding. Many mills dual-certify pipe as 316/316L.
